We are currently recruiting a Mobile General Kitchen Assistant for Hull and surrounding area.
About the Role:
We have a large group of primary schools we cater for; some serve around 350 meals a day and currently cater for 1 secondary and 3 special schools.
We offer 4 healthy school lunch options which are all made using fresh ingredients on site.
As a General Kitchen Assistant your role will be to assist the Catering Manager in delivering an efficient catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.
Your everyday tasks will include carrying out basic food preparation, setting out and putting away dining room furniture, serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
You will work closely with the area management team and build up relationships across the entire catering teams. This role is for someone actively seeking something different everyday, someone who enjoys working and getting to know lots of people, and for someone who is willing to learn from others.
You will be paid mileage and your travel time is included within your pay. Driving license and own vehicle is essential. Business insurance would need to be shown at onboarding stage.
