About the role

 

We work closely with families and other professionals to ensure that we have sound knowledge of the children we are caring for and are able to meet their diverse range of needs, interests and backgrounds. We focus on the strengths and positive attributes of the children to encourage the growth of self-esteem and empowerment and support them to develop to their full potential. Join us as we strive to provide high quality services to support children and young people with disabilities and their families.

 

We are looking for the right individual who has high aspirations for themselves, those they work with and for children and young people to join our award winning team as Senior Resource Centre Worker.

This exciting post involves day to day leadership and support of a dedicated team of Resource Centre Workers whilst on shift (including weekends and bank holidays). In addition, the role includes contributing to all aspects of the physical and emotional care of children and young people, whilst working in partnership with their family and other professionals. The ideal applicant will hold a diploma level 3 for Residential Childcare or be working towards it and will have experience of working in a residential childcare setting. You will have a good level of knowledge surrounding safeguarding policies, Ofsted requirements and behaviour management strategies.
