An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a full time Business Support Officer to provide administrative support to the Waste Service within the Environment Directorate.  The role is office based at Engine Shed Lane Depot, Skipton; therefore, hybrid working is not available.  

 

 

We require an experienced and highly motivated administrator with excellent communication and customer care skills.  You will undertake a range of duties including, but not limited to, waste administration, general reception duties, assisting customers with waste related queries, data inputting using excel and bespoke systems and finance including processing invoicing and raising of purchase orders.  

 

 

You will benefit from a supportive management structure, on-going personal development and performance management.  

 

Training will be given to the appointed person.      

 

The successful applicant must have good keyboard skills and experience in Word, Excel, Databases and Outlook.  Good literacy and numeracy skills are also essential. You must be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised and have the ability to work to your own initiative.
