We’re currently hiring for several roles, with each position offering a competitive hourly rate of £12.60. Plus, the successful applicant for the Cleaner and Caretaker role will receive a £200 recruitment payment.

Your main duties would include:

Catering Assistant

NYES Catering are proud to provide fresh, home cooked food to thousands of children across the North of England each day and you could contribute to our success. 

You will support the cook with a range of duties, from preparing ingredients to serving children and washing up. 

A truly varied and rewarding role! 

The hours are 12.5 per week, working term time only, between 11:00 to 13:30. This role pays £12.60 per hour

 

Cleaner

As a cleaner for NYC in our school, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene across the building including cleaning staff areas of the school, including offices and staff room.

This role is for 2.5 hours per week, worked before 08:30am ready for the school opening, though there is some flexibility depending on the needs of the school. This role pays £12.60 per hour

Full training will be provided.

 

Caretaker

Our caretakers are a crucial element of the safety and security of our buildings and, by extension, the pupils and teachers who attend. The key responsibilities include;

  • Opening the site - including an outside security check to designated entrances for broken glass and litter etc. Ensuring the outside areas are safe and clean.
  • Completing fire alarm and emergency light checks.
  • Assisting with minor repairs.
  • Changing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes as required.

This role is for 7.5 per week, also completed before 08:30am. For this you will be paid £12.60- £13.05 per hour

These posts require an Enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by the Employer
