North Yorkshire Council offers a diverse range of work experience opportunities across the county, helping individuals gain valuable skills and hands-on experience in their chosen sector.

• Libraries

• Economy, Environment, and Housing

• Environmental Protection

• Finance

• Highways

• HR, Pay, and Reward

• ICT

• Parks and Gardens

• Culture and Archives 

This list is not exhaustive, as North Yorkshire Council covers a wide range of services, offering many more valuable opportunities.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer work experience placements within childcare or social services. 

 Our work experience placements are subject to availability within the service and some roles may only be available in certain locations of the county.
