We have an opportunity to join our award-winning facilities management catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. eat well and fuelling their appetite for learning.
We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Selby Abbey Primary School. As a Catering Assistant your role will be to support the Catering Manager in delivering an effective service, operating to the highest standards of food safety. Daily you will be setting up the dining hall, serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning down the kitchen and dining room.
You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed working from 11:15 am to 13:00 pm totalling to 8.75 hrs per week. No weekend work! You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £12.65 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
