We are looking for a Cook to lead our catering provision at Fylingdales School, preparing approximately 30 meals each day in a welcoming school environment.

About the Role
As Cook, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. You will lead by example, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensuring pupils and staff receive nutritious, appetising meals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking and serving freshly made meals
- Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
- Setting up and clearing the dining area
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff
- Ordering food and managing stock levels
- Completing stock checks and kitchen administration
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual who takes pride in preparing healthy, wholesome food. You'll be a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering an excellent dining experience for children and staff alike.
Working Hours
- 09:00am - 1:45pm
- 23.75 hours per week
- Term-time only
- No evenings, weekends or split shifts
You will work during term time only but you’ll received equal monthly pay throughout the year, giving you consistent income and financial peace of mind.
