Location: Gladstone Road Primary School, Scarborough
Contract: Permanent,
Hours/ Working Pattern: 16.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 11:30am - 2:45pm
(MSA duties 11:30am – 1:00pm, ATA duties 1:00pm – 2:45pm)
Salary/ Hourly Rate:
Advanced Teaching Assistant: NYC Grade C/D, Scale point 4-6, £10.98 - £11.39 per hour. £3,843 - £3,986 per annum pro rata
Midday Supervisory Assistant: NYC Grade A/B – Point 2, £10.90 per hour, £3,270 per annum pro rata.

Our Opportunity
We are looking for an Advanced Teaching Assistant to join our thriving, busy school.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated colleague to join our school, work with our children, and provide the support they need to be their best.
This rewarding role is to work across KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will work in a range of roles, including inside and outside the classroom, in small groups.
This will include working with children on the SEND register to provide the support needed to enable them to successfully access all that the school has to offer.
This is a very varied role, and no two days are ever the same!
In addition to the Advanced Teaching Assistant duties, you will also undertake Midday Supervisory Assistant responsibilities – ensuring pupils safely enjoy their lunch and lead games during playtime!
Essential:
- The successful candidate must hold English and Maths GCSE level ‘C’ or equivalent
- The successful candidate will have previous experience in working with children and young people, possibly within the care sector
