We have an opportunity to join our award-winning Facilities Management catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at The Wensleydale School. As a Catering Assistant your role will be to support the Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety.
Your daily tasks will include setting up and clearing away the dining hall, serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen areas. You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed working from 12:30 to 14:30 totalling to 10 hrs per week. No weekend work!
You will work term time weeks only; however, you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour, in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
