An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Quality Team as a Quality Assurance Officer.

 

This is an integrated team, working with colleagues from the York and North Yorkshire Health & Care Partnership. The primary function of the team is to work closely with partners and the health and social care market to assess, and where appropriate, improve the quality of services and ensure compliance with Council procedures, legislative requirements and national best practice.

 

We are also responsible for liaising with the health and social care market where there are service continuity issues, from adverse weather to utility shortages or a pandemic, to ensure that people continue to receive care with minimal disruption. The team works closely the Contract Management Team, Service Development, Care & Support, Public Health and Resilience and Emergency Team.

 

Your role will be supporting providers, promoting seamless processes for quality assurance, quality improvement and service continuity which are effective.
