Do you have a positive approach to work and enjoy the challenges of a busy role? We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working as part of our Mobile Cleaning Team on a 12-month temporary maternity cover.
You will be based around Skipton and Harrogate and the surrounding area. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic with a flexible approach.
The Role
Our mobile team provide cover within our schools, offices, and corporate buildings.
Working for North Yorkshire Council as a mobile cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.
Full training will be provided, and the hours will total 30 hours per week over 5 days. Depending on workload, you may be required to work beyond this, for which you will be paid accordingly. For this you will be paid £12.60 per hour.
No weekend work!
During school holidays, the work times will be predominately during the day, to deep clean schools involving a further range of tasks such as scrubbing floors and carpet cleaning.
Your working day will start at approximately 15:00, where you will be picked up from your home address by one of the Mobile Cleaning supervisors. You will be taken home, or to an agreed location at the end of your shift.
