14 hpw, term time only over 2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday
Salary: NY Grade E, points 6 – 8 + SEN bonus [actual salary at point 6 inc SEN bonus £8,536.54pa [£13.83ph]
We would like to appoint a part-time SEN Teaching Assistant and Personal Carer to join our team, ideally to start on Monday, 24 February but a later start date would be considered.
This post supports the inclusion of students with special needs and physical disability by working with them on an in-class or 1:1 basis, under the direction of teaching staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, together with good written and basic ICT skills. Previous experience of learning support in a school would be desirable and full training will be available for the successful candidate.
