Temporary Cleaning Position (Maternity Cover)

We’re currently seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our team at a local school on a temporary basis. In this role, your attention to detail and commitment will help create a clean, welcoming environment that supports students’ learning and well-being.
The School
We are a friendly and inclusive school, set in the historic market town of Skipton.
The school is a proud member of the Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust (YCST), a multi academy trust that works in partnership to support the school and its children.
The Role
As a Cleaner with North Yorkshire Council, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and other communal areas
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the site

- Weekday shifts of 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM (15 hours per week, with some flexibility). No weekend work!
