KS2 Teacher

Salary: £35,673 - £40,439 per annum

Grade: MPS (3-5)

Contract: Fixed Term (1 year initially)

Hours: 1.0 FTE

Location: St Peter’s Brafferton CE VA Primary School, Brafferton

 

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an outstanding, dedicated and committed primary classroom practitioner to join our growing and successful village primary school from September2025. This position is in KS2 and is suitable for a more experienced teacher as it also encompasses a subject leadership role.

 

St Peter’s Brafferton CE VA Primary School is a small school with a big heart and has strong Christian values, enthusiastic children, committed staff, dedicated governors and supportive parents.

  • Can plan and deliver inspirational lessons to individual groups and classes based upon sound curriculum knowledge

  • Monitors, assesses and builds on children’s progress effectively

  • Is committed to professional development and has high expectations of your own practice
  • Is prepared to support the Christian ethos of our school
  • Most importantly, is willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our children and school community
