We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at two of our schools, Hellifield Community Primary School, and Long Preston Primary School as a caretaker for both sites. These schools are part of Ribblesdale Federation of Schools.

 

The Role

You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic. Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be working on a morning between 07.00 and 09.15 and will need to travel between the schools. 

For this, you will be paid £12.60- £13.05 per hour. No weekend work!

You will be responsible for the opening and carrying out a security check of the buildings, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor repairs, and replacing consumables. You will support the training and development of the Cleaners on site as well as assist with cleaning duties as directed.

Full training will be provided.
