We are recruiting a Travelling Catering Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our catering team in the Hull Area.
We have an opportunity to join our catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce.
North Yorkshire Education - Catering is a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals. We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to our children, encouraging them to eat well and fuelling their appetite for learning.
As a valued member of our hard-working team, you will be reliable, dependable and committed to providing healthy wholesome dishes, working typically 10:00 – 13:00 totalling 15 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work!
You will work term time weeks only; however, you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £12.65 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement. Full training will be given, uniform provided.
A car and business insurance are essential, as you will be traveling in the area covering sickness/vacancies and assisting the area manager with inductions/training of new staff. You will be given a mileage allowance for your traveling.
As a Travelling Catering Assistant, you will:
- deliver an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety
- cover sickness and vacancies
- prepare, cook and serve meals to pupils, setting out and putting away dining furniture, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas
