Hours: Annualised 42 hours over 5 days in summer; 32 hours per week over 4 days in Winter

We’re looking for Ground Maintenance Operatives to join our Horticultural Team in Richmond.   

 

Our service

  • Our Horticultural Team is responsible for the maintenance of all the parks and gardens across the area, to ensure the spaces are well maintained and attractive for both residents and visitors alike.    

 

The role

As our Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to undertake a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks and duties including flower, shrub and rose beds as well as the use of grass cutters and other machinery.  

 

What you will bring

To be successful you will have experience in:

  • Working within grounds and maintenance;
  • The use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery;
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work;
  • Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard.

 

As the role covers the district you will require a full driving licence.
