Salary: £12.65 per hour, £2,790.34 Actual Salary

Hours: Part Time, 5 Hours per week

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

 

Employed by NYCC on behalf of the Federation of Follifoot and Spofforth Schools with Follifoot as the ‘base’ school.

 

5 hours per week | Spofforth CofE Primary School, Harrogate

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Midday Supervisor to join our small and friendly team and help make our lunchtimes a pleasurable and sociable experience. This role includes: • Supervise the playground area, playing field, cloakrooms and classrooms etc during the lunchtime break.

 

Assist with the removal of food and equipment once pupils have eaten their lunch.

Deal with minor first aid incidents; follow appropriate procedures for recording and reporting.

Assist in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management strategies as required

Observe a child or young person’s behaviour, understand its context, and notice any unexpected changes and report any inappropriate behaviour to the correct member of staff.

Resolve minor disputes between pupils

Assist in the supervision of other activities during the midday break, including setting out and storing equipment
