Hours: Annualised Hours – 42 hours over 5 days in Summer (April to September) and 32 hours over 4 days in Winter (October to March)

If you want to make a positive difference to the beautiful district of North Yorkshire, then this could be the job for you. We’re looking for Ground Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in Selby.
The role
As our Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff as part of a team to undertake a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks and duties including sports pitch marking, hedge cutting, shrub and rose bed maintenance, as well as the use of grass cutters and other machinery.
What you will bring
To be successful you will have experience in:
· Managing staff and leading a team
· Working within grounds maintenance
· The use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery
· Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work
· Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard
· As the role covers the district you will require a full driving licence.
