Location: Welburn Hall School, Kirkbymoorside 
Working Pattern: 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm, Term time only plus 1 week
Salary: Grade C/D, £14,524 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

Set in more than 20 acres of beautiful countryside, Welburn Hall School is located in the market town of Kirkbymoorside, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Originally a stately home, the Hall has been a school since the 1950s.
 
Our recently refurbished, spacious buildings and grounds provide excellent facilities, supported by a dedicated and caring staff team. Together, we create a calm, inspiring environment in which to learn, live, and work.
 
A North Yorkshire Council maintained special school, we are a National Nurture School with a strong reputation for excellence; offering a dynamic, innovative and unique learning journey for learners aged 8 to 19 years, with a wide range of learning difficulties.

Our Opportunity
We are looking for an administrator to join our team! You will be mostly based in our busy main reception, located in the beautiful former stately home building. You will be a friendly face greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and helping keep our school running smoothly.
 
You will have
  • Knowledge of administration and office systems
  • Clerical or administrative experience / transferable skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Confidence using computers
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Judgemental skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
Experience working in a school office is not essential but may be advantageous.
