The Turkish Baths in Harrogate has been a popular visitor attraction since 1897, specialising in relaxation and luxury. Our focus is on providing an excellent customer experience.
The Role
We are seeking a Spa & Wellness Attendant to join our supportive team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the customer journey, from greeting guests to making sure they have everything they need during their visit to the Turkish Baths. This includes maintaining a clean and tidy environment, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring the safety of all customers.
Your key duties will include:
- Supervising customers in the Turkish Baths with constant vigilance to ensure safety.
- Regularly undertaking cleaning tasks to a high standard based on daily rotas.
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring the client's day runs smoothly.
- Taking customers to their treatments on time.
- Administering first aid for minor accidents and keeping accurate records.
- Providing administrative duties as required.
About You
We are looking for someone with a passion for customer service, a welcoming personality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a customer-related environment.
- A friendly, reliable, and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent organisational skills and flexibility.
- Confidence in using the English language for spoken communication.
- The ability to work in a hot environment and be confident in water.
Qualifications and Training
A First Aid at Work, Health and Safety, and/or Basic Food Hygiene certificate is desirable. We are committed to employee development and provide opportunities for further training, including compulsory monthly in-house sessions on specialist areas like spinal board operation.
