Working pattern: 42 hours over 5 days in summer; 32 hours per week over 4 days in Winter

We’re looking for Ground Maintenance Operatives to join our Horticultural Team in Leeming Bar.   

 

The role

As our Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to undertake a wide range of grounds maintenance tasks and duties including flower, shrub and rose beds as well as the use of grass cutters and other machinery.  

 

What you will bring

To be successful you will have experience in: 

  • Working within grounds and maintenance;
  • The use of ride-on and pedestrian grass cutting machinery;
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work;
  • Knowledge of play park inspections to ROSPA standard.  

 

As the role covers the district, you will require a full driving licence.

 

Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
