We have a dual vacancy for a Catering Assistant at Sand Hutton/Warthill Primary School and Cleaner/Caretaker at Warthill Primary School.
Catering Assistant:
The Catering Assistant post is to assist the cook in packing the meals for Warthill Primary into transport boxes and then to transport these lunches to Warthill Primary School, where you would serve the children, washing up, maintaining the standards of the kitchen hygiene and cleaning down of the dining area after lunch. This role is for 11.25 hours per week, 2.25 per day. NYES Catering are proud to provide fresh, home cooked food to thousands of children across the North of England each day and you could contribute to our success. You will support the cook with a range of duties. A truly varied and rewarding role! You will be supplied with uniform, safety footwear and all the training and support to ensure you are fully confident in your role. Mileage allowance at 46p per mile is given for this role due to transporting from one school to another.
Cleaner/Caretaker:
Working for NYC as a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings. Full training will be provided, and the hours are 6 hours per week cleaning to be completed at the end of the school day, Monday to Friday with some flexibility on start and finish time. No weekend work! For this you will be paid £12.26 per hour. In addition to this the Caretaker responsibilities of locking the site after cleaning, setting the alarm, and ensuring the site is fully secure. For this we will pay you an additional £12.45- £13.05 per hour based on 3.5 hrs per week. This is term time plus 2 weeks in the summer holidays.
Catering hours 11.25 per week, Caretaking & Cleaning hours 9.50 per week. Totalling 20.75 per week.
