We are looking to recruit effective, resilient and highly motivated individuals to join our Multi Agency Screening Team in North Yorkshire.

MAST was created in Oct 2014, consisting of Social Workers, Social Work managers, Early Help, Business Support, North Yorkshire Police and Safeguarding Health professionals. MAST have predominantly worked remotely since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and continue to hybrid work whilst maintaining an excellent quality service and performance. It is expected that the applicant will be able to work from County Hall when required including at least once per week.

The Children and Families Worker role is vital within MAST, tasks including screening of contacts, decision making, attending and presenting information at Group Screening meetings and working closely with multiagency partners. Our practice model is designed to work on keeping children safe and families together, with the right intervention at the right time in the right place.

The successful applicant will have experience of working within Early Help, understanding of the Signs of Safety model and systemic practice and thrive in a fast paced office environment.

We offer regular 1-1 and group based supervisions taking a collaborative team approach in delivering best practice at the front door. You will receive an excellent rewards package including agile working, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, and a generous annual leave allowance.
