Why are we different?

We have two arms to our charity. The first being our supported living services where our staff support people in their own homes to live their best lives. Our staff support people to push boundaries and explore new opportunities. This can range from overcoming anxieties through to making that trip of a lifetime to America.

Although the current job advertised is for our supported living, there may be opportunities where you can also work in our day service, which is a small holding on the edge of Norton, we support people on the farm to take care of our various animal projects (alpaca, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, dogs and cats). People at the farm are also supported to take part in various workshop projects that range from woodwork through to welding. We also have a large poly tunnel where we grow our own fruit and veg.

When it comes to Admin all our staff need to do is navigate around an iPad so that you can record all the great stuff our people get up to

What do you need to bring to the table?

Experience would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided. We just need you to be a good person with the right values. We expect all our staff to demonstrate our organisational values.

Be: Caring, Respectful, Empowering, Trusting and have Integrity

Having the right attitudes and values will ensure you are delivering support to people in a way that you would only expect for yourself or someone you love. It really is that easy!

It would be advantageous for the new starter to be familiar with an iPad (otherwise we can give you some training on it – straight forward)
