Business Support Officer, Harrogate (094458)

Salary: £23,893 - £25,119, Pro rata, Per annum

 Grade: E

 Contract: Permanent

 Hours: 18.5 per week

Location: Harrogate or Skipton

Due to the nature of the work the successful applicant will need to spread their working hours across the week, Monday to Friday, as some tasks need completing on a daily basis.  The working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate. 

 

The base can be either Belle Vue Square Skipton or Civic Centre Harrogate - base to be agreed with the successful applicant. This post offers hybrid working so there will be the opportunity to work from home as well as in the office. There may be times when you would need to attend meetings in other locations. Mileage will be paid for travel.

 

About the role

The role supports the Adult Safeguarding Manager and countywide Adult Safeguarding Team.  You will be required to undertake a range of administrative tasks.  Training will be provided:

 

·        Collating and analysing data, ensuring information is prepared and distributed within specified timescales

 

·        Organising various meetings – either ad-hoc or regular, ensuring the relevant people are invited to attend

 

·        Preparing and monitoring spreadsheets

 

·        Minute taking as and when required

 

·        Ensuring the team’s practice library is kept up to date

 

·        Monitoring the team email box and forwarding/responding to emails as appropriate

 

About you

We are looking for someone that can prioritise their workload to meet deadlines.  You will need to work on your own initiative and be confident liaising with professionals across a wide geographical area.  You must have a strong commitment to confidentiality of personal information and an eye for detail. You will be confident using Microsoft packages.
