We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working as part of our mobile cleaning team. You will be covering 3 schools in the Darlington Area.

The Role
Our mobile team provide cover within our schools, offices, and corporate buildings. Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner is a varied, challenging role in which flexibility and teamwork are essential skills.
Your working day will start at approximately 15:00pm, where you pick up/ be picked up by the other mobile cleaners at a home address or a mutually agreed location.
Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.
Full training will be provided, and the hours will total 30 hours per week over 5 days.
Depending on workload, you may be required to work beyond this, for which you will be paid accordingly. For this you will be paid £13.28 with no weekend work!
During school holidays, the work times will be predominately during the day, to deep clean schools involving a further range of tasks such as scrubbing floors and carpet cleaning.
A UK Driving license is essential and you will be provided with a works vehicle with all expenses (fuel etc) covered.
