Health & Wellbeing Coach - Brimhams Active

Salary: Grade D, £24702- £25,979 (pro rata)
Contract: Part time 25 hours per week, fixed term 31st December 2024

Location: Flexible working across Brimhams Active estate including Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon and Nidderdale

As the Health & Wellbeing Coach, you will be central to making this vision a reality

 

Working as part of the Brimhams Active team, we are looking for passionate individuals with the drive to develop and support our online Family Healthy Living Service for North Yorkshire (Healthy Families), in line with local health priorities. You will have the opportunity to monitor, evaluate and deliver on our Healthy Families service and liaise with our health and social care partners to to meet the needs of our community.

 

You will be experienced in working in a vibrant health focused environment with a passion for building effective partnerships to make the best use of local resources. Everything you do, will have your clients interests at heart where you will provide them with the motivation and tools that they need to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

 

Using the Brimhams 5 ways to wellness, you will develop, deliver and support families’ health and wellbeing and encouraging behaviour change to incorporate healthier lifestyles. You will guide families through their journey by holding one-on-one sessions to provide nutritional advice, signpost to physical activity sessions and measure your clients progress with the aim to provide valuable feedback that will have a positive effect on their lives.

 

Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will support the collaboration with other health professional to provide an excellent service to families. You will be a real team player with a passion for supporting the health and wellbeing of our communities.

 

Alongside this role, there may be the opportunity for you to take up additional duties in other areas of the business, allowing you to develop your skills and expertise alongside earning additional income.
