The governors at Richmond Methodist Primary and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an exceptional General Teaching Assistant, Grade C SCP 3-4 Term Time Only, Fixed Term contract, to join our team of experienced and enthusiastic early years team. The post is for a General Teaching Assistant to work in one of our two Reception classes.
The contracted hours start as soon as possible and consist of 18 hours per week, working Monday – Wednesday 8.45am-3.45pm. MSA hours of 30mins per day totalling 1.5 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2023 subject to review.
There is also the potential to work on a supply basis in our two-year-old nursery provision, 2 days per week, as and when required.
The successful applicants will commence employment as soon as available.
The General Teaching Assistant plays a significant role in supporting school to deliver our ‘planning in the moment’ curriculum together with working within the effective team to provide a nurturing, child centred and exciting learning environment in which children investigate and thrive.
