An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning Catering and Cleaning Service, as our Technical Support Manager.
The Role
The role will be the service lead on tender submissions and gaining new business, and you will be pivotal in providing all necessary information as part of the bid process. This will include pulling together an appropriate ‘tender team’ and presenting to prospective clients as required.
The Technical Support Manager leads the support team which includes quality assurance, monitoring, inspection, and training to ensure compliance with legislation and good working practice regarding food safety, health and safety, risk management and NYC policies and procedures.
The service operates throughout the north of England, and as such driving may be required to attend meetings etc on an ad-hoc basis.
About You
You will have catering and cleaning experience at a management level, with technical knowledge that can be utilised within this role. The role, and the technical team, support all Catering, Cleaning and Caretaking functions.
You will have relevant management experience and will directly line manage three of the service managers – Training & Compliance Manager, Assurance & Innovation Manager and Contracts & Development Manager. Each of which have a dedicated and experienced team.
You will form part of the service Senior Management team, and as such will support with developing strategy and decision making, whilst ensuring the service is always aligned with existing and upcoming legislation.
