We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools, Lord Deramore’s School, Heslington, York. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic.

Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the unlocking of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance of the building and assisting with minor repairs. Full training will be provided. The hours are 15 hours per week with flexible start and finish times, to be completed on a morning, opening school no later than 7am. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour.
