We are looking for a Senior Highway Technician to join our Highways team at Align Property Services.
In this role you will share your knowledge and expertise to provide technical support on data collection and analysis, and technical surveys and analysis to the wider team. Collaborating with a team of established engineers and technicians, you will contribute to delivering efficient and cost-effective Highways projects from concept to completion. You will advise on engineering principles as well as working closely with other teams across our multi disciple workforce and engaging with clients.

Align Property Services is a limited company, wholly owned by North Yorkshire Council. We are one of the largest multi-discipline building design consultancies in the North of England. To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A ONC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge in design, specification and delivery of highway projects in accordance with current guidelines, standards and specifications relating to the delivery of designs.
- Experience of using AutoCAD or similar design software programmes
- Evidence of providing Highways technical advice and support to clients, team members and across other disciplines.
- A good understanding of other building and engineering related disciplines OR requirements of these in the effective design, co-ordination and delivery of projects.
- Be IT proficient, including the use of Microsoft Packages
- Hold a full UK driver license, with access to a vehicle.
