Highways Technical Assistant

Salary: £29,064 - £31,537 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

The Role

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in keeping this essential and picturesque network running safely and smoothly for residents, businesses, and visitors.

As a Technical Assistant, reporting direct to the Area Manager you will:

 

  • Contribute to the effective delivery of highway works by completing tasks assigned by the Area Manager
  • Manage, interrogate and coordinate complex databases and spreadsheets to support accurate operational planning.
  • Produce high‑quality maps, plans and technical drawings suitable for presentation and project use.
  • Support data collection activities to inform revenue and capital scheme delivery.
  • Organise, prepare and implement permanent and temporary Traffic Regulation Orders as required.
