We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools Melbourne Primary School, Main Street, Melbourne, York, YO42 4QE. You will be a valued member of our team who will be reliable, dependable and have a strong work ethic.
Working for NYC as a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the opening and security of the building, responding to emergency call outs as well as ensuring outside areas are kept safe and clean. You will support the maintenance of the building by checking and replacing light fittings, assisting with minor repairs, and replacing consumables, completing weekly and monthly compliance checks. Full training will be provided.
The hours are between 07.00 – 09.00 daily and totalling to 10 hours per week over 5 days. For this, you will be paid £12.85 per hour. No weekend work!
