About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Cook to lead our catering team at Kirkbymoorside School, serving approximately 110 meals each day.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
- Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for students and staff.
- Lead and support the catering team to deliver an excellent service.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained.
- Organise food ordering, stock control and kitchen administration.
- Supervise team members and support their day-to-day activities.
- Set up and clear down dining areas.
- Carry out washing up and general kitchen duties.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about producing healthy, high-quality meals.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- A positive team player with good leadership skills.
- Committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Experienced in catering, food preparation and kitchen management.
The role is term time only, with no weekend work. You’ll receive equal monthly payments throughout the year.
