We have an opportunity to join our friendly catering team providing healthy wholesome dishes made from locally sourced fresh produce. NYES Catering is a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals.

 

We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to our children encouraging them to eat well and fuelling their appetite for learning. We are recruiting for a Catering Manager to join our hard-working team at Richmond School, serving over 1000 home cooked meals per day, catering for several special diets and managing a team of 12 staff members.

 

As a Catering Manager you will be delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. Your role will require you to deliver a financially effective service including preparing, cooking and serving meals to pupils and staff as well as other kitchen management duties such as the supervision of staff, ordering of food, stocktaking and administration, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas.

 

You will be valued as a member of our team and we will need you to be reliable, dependable and committed to providing tasty nutritious home cooked meals. Your working hours will be from 7:00 to 14:30 daily totalling 37 hours per week over 5 days. No weekend work! You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £17.29 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
