An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Administrator  supporting North Yorkshire Council Highways and Transportation, Area 1 - Richmond, located at Brompton on Swale.

Business Support is an administrative function that works across every area of North Yorkshire Council such as Social Care, Finance, Trading Standards and Property Services to name a few. We deliver a wide spectrum of services that include customer service, reception duties, meeting administration, data inputting & communications.

 

What you will bring

We require a motivated administrator with excellent communication and customer care skills suitable for dealing with a full range of service users and professionals, both from North Yorkshire Council and other organisations. The successful applicant must be able work independently and prioritise their own workload; therefore good organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail are important. You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection and keeping data safe in an office environment.

You will benefit from a supportive team and management structure; training, of course, will be given to the appointed person. 

 

The role is Hybrid so you will have a blend of working from the Area 1 Highways office, located in Brompton on Swale, and home, once the probationary period has been completed.
