Our school site is a wonderful place to be, surrounded by lush outdoor space and a forest; allowing staff and pupils to step out of the classroom and take learning out into the fresh air.

Our school vision focuses on "Working together to be happy; to flourish; to succeed". We are keen to promote children's charitable outreach and support all children to make a wider difference. You can see the great work our pupils have done here.

Play Therapy
Supporting and promoting children’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their individual academic successes. At Sleights, we firmly believe this and invest significantly in supporting children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. Around the school and in classrooms, staff have use a wide range of tools and strategies to support all children at all times.

We do also work really closely with individual children and their families at times when things are perhaps more challenging. We do this with the help of our very own Play Therapist, Mel. Mel works at Sleights three days a week and has her very own play room in the school.

We are committed to providing children with exciting, real life and practical learning opportunities. We are keen to share and further develop excellent provision for our staff and children.
