The future is extremely bright with No Wrong Door Service and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Team Manager to Join us as we ensure that every child or young person we work with gets the right support at the right time to meet their needs.
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and motivated No Wrong Door Team Manager to lead hub that serves the west/central areas of the county.
This is a truly unique role where you will lead from the front to drive forward the No Wrong Door service through strong relational practice using the No Wrong Door ethos and culture making a real difference in the lives of the children, young people and families we support.
You will provide the direct line manager of a multi-disciplinary team including police and health colleagues. You will also be responsible for a diverse range of placement options for children and young people with high complex needs including at times of emergency and overseeing out of hour’s provision. You will also manage services which include Edge of Care provision, activities, and bespoke placements.
This role will require you to register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the NWD hub’s Children’s Home. As a registered manager you must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a role relevant to the residential care of children in the past 5 years and some prior experience as a senior practitioner or manager. You should have a sound knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards alongside an understanding of the Social Care Inspection Framework.
As the NWD Team Manager you will provide clear leadership, management and direction to the NWD Team using evidence-based practice models and ensure productive multi-agency relationships that drive forward positive outcomes for children.
This role also requires you to also participate in a out of hours Stand by Manager Rota providing advice and support to the NWD Hubs and EDT out of hours. A additional allowance/payment is made for this element of the role.
